There can be many factors that can cause hemorrhoides;
Constipation
Pregnancy
Certain types of foods
Alcohol
Genetics
Sitting for long periods
Lack of exercise
Unhealthy lifestyle
Thoroughly wash HEMOfree applicator before use with warm water and mild soap, dry with clean absorbent paper and insert in zip-lock bag with the thin end of applicator facing downwards. Be sure that your freezer is sufficiently cold, and freeze for a minimum of 2 hours. If not frozen enough, HEMOfree therapy will not be effective.
After HEMOfree is frozen, remove from freezer and quickly apply lubricant to the thin part and the wide part of the applicator with a lubricant. (If there is condensation on the applicator wipe off with paper towel then apply lubricant).
HEMOfree is now ready for insertion. Lay comfortably on your side then bend the knee and bring your leg up towards your chest. Gently insert the thin end of HEMOfree into the rectum up to its base. Once in place, leave HEMOfree in position. It takes the HEMOfree applicator 10 to 12 minutes to thaw. Please note that for severe cases treatment time should be extended the use of 2 applicators one after another have immediate results.
It is also possible to insert the applicator while in a sitting position. Sit on a soft surface and lift one leg while leaning to one side. Comfortably insert HEMOfree applicator. Lean back again and wait 10 to 12 minutes until the cooling sensation is gone.
Remove HEMOfree and wash thoroughly with soap and warm water, not over 40 C / 103 F). Wipe dry and place HEMO
free
in a new zip-lock bag and return it to the freezer. Allow 2 hours of re-freezing time before each treatment.
Time of treatment:
Idealy, is three (3) times daily as well as after each bowel movement. For severe cases four (4) times daily for one week. Please be aware that Hemorrhoids can return or be additionally irritated by spicy foods, alcohol, sitting for long periods etc.
