Mrs. NRA, 55 years
Onset: insidious - started with mild fever and ill-defined
pain
in both knee joints. Later gradually she developed swelling and pain in her knees which spread to the wrist joints as well. Developed restriction of movements and difficulty in walking for the last 2 1/2 years. Could not walk without the help of a walker. She had taken
Ayurvedic treatment
for all these 7 years with no beneficial effects; had also tried
acupuncture therapy
with no results. Developed stiffness and pain in the neck since last 3 month.
Treatment: The patient was subject to the Magnetic Field Therapy daily for half an hour for a period of 40 days. After 20 exposures she started feeling better. The pain in the knee joints improved considerably. Swelling of wrist joints and pain disappeared completely, after 40 exposures there was considerable improvement in the range of movements of her knees. There was no pain and morning stiffness improved considerably after the competition of the treatment.
Follow up:
Three months after the treatment, the patient visited us for a check up. She was walking without the usual 'walker' and was free from pain.
